Armandinho Sá stood somewhat misplaced when Samuel Quintal came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 14 minute. In the 17th minute, Verde's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Xu Ao fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Eliézer Jacinto hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Samuel Quintal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 minutes, Dé Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Final FT and the Verde players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dé Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Xu Ao blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armandinho Sá having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Quintal in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armandinho Sá prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Verde's Cacá de Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Cacá de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Armandinho Sá stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Quintal's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Samuel Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armandinho Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Carlos Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Final FT's Samuel Quintal in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Verde's goalie prevented a goal. Armandinho Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cacá de Queiroz during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Samuel Quintal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Final FT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Samuel Quintal scored 4-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armandinho Sá, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute, Xu Ao left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Final FT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The audience was convinced that Samuel Quintal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armandinho Sá was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. After 79 minutes, Samuel Quintal made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Verde's Armandinho Sá tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Xu Ao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armandinho Sá. Verde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xu Ao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 89th minute, Xu Ao made a precise shot to the right of Armandinho Sá. Verde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. With a little luck, Final FT's Didi do Vale got control of the ball when Zé Carlos Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Verde's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
