It was Eurico Barral who took care of the corner kick. Rafinha Antunes charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafinha Antunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, GRÊMIO FOOT-BALL POA's Rafinha Antunes got a free kick in the 13th minute. Noel de Souza struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Luiz Fábio Britto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GRÊMIO FOOT-BALL POA. A collision led to CAÇA NARANJA getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Aníbal Matos hit a great ball. Oséas Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fiori Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28thth minute of the game Oséas Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GRÊMIO FOOT-BALL POA's Fiori Netto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Noel de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Noel de Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GRÊMIO FOOT-BALL POA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fiori Netto came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by CAÇA NARANJA's Chicão Fontes. But to his dismay, Chicão Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oséas Almeida made a kick off. Noel de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Oséas Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fiori Netto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oséas Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the game, CAÇA NARANJA's Oséas Almeida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fiori Netto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 61st minute, Zé Augusto do Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Fábio Britto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Zé Augusto do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CAÇA NARANJA's Akis Sotiroglou got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Adilson Neves fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CAÇA NARANJA's protests and gave Adilson Neves a yellow card for diving instead. Adilson Neves hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, CAÇA NARANJA's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Britto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Noel de Souza. In the 82nd minute, Rafinha Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fiori Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Fontes in the 87th minute of the match. GRÊMIO FOOT-BALL POA's Fiori Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Almeida in the 93rd minute of play.
