Chicão Fontes hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Xu Ao sped through CAÇA NARANJA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luiz Fábio Britto. 44 minutes into the game, Samuel Quintal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luiz Fábio Britto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Didi do Vale came out of the goal and Oséas Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romeu Vinhas charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeu Vinhas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CAÇA NARANJA's Romeu Vinhas got a free kick in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xu Ao got free with Luiz Fábio Britto in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th match minute, Final FT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. The Final FT supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Final FT would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
