After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, David Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quixaba Futebol clube's supporters rose to their feet, but David Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 19 minutes, Flávio Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 〒ҤꙘⅬ 千Ⓒ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flávio Furtado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The 〒ҤꙘⅬ 千Ⓒ fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when 〒ҤꙘⅬ 千Ⓒ's Flávio Furtado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in 〒ҤꙘⅬ 千Ⓒ's zone, Hamílton Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Britto came out of the goal and Hamílton Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Flávio Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 〒ҤꙘⅬ 千Ⓒ were furious when Eliseu Perez was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 42nd minute, Eliseu Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zézinho Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Saldanha having to interfere. After the first half 〒ҤꙘⅬ 千Ⓒ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiago Capixaba to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Hamílton Cordeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Britto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ramiro Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Saldanha having to interfere. 〒ҤꙘⅬ 千Ⓒ's Tiago Capixaba got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th match minute, 〒ҤꙘⅬ 千Ⓒ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Furtado to maneuver through the defense. David Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Hugo Britto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quixaba Futebol clube. Zézinho Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcinho Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Capixaba in the 93rd minute of play.
