The Cacá Botelho was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Orlando Lucas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Cacá Botelho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Horacio Diegotxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manoel Perez in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Orlando Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th match minute, PIRIPERI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enio Couto to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes PIRIPERI FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedito de Carvalho. In the 20th minute, Orlando Lucas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PIRIPERI FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 24th minute, Dorian Fernandes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cheruan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Cheruan getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Horacio Diegotxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, PIRIPERI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Fernandes came free, but Horacio Diegotxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, PIRIPERI FC's Luís Fábio Britto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luís Fábio Britto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of PIRIPERI FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luís Fábio Britto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 41 played minutes PIRIPERI FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fábio Britto. Zé Pedro Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horacio Diegotxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Dorian Fernandes notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of PIRIPERI FC's Horacio Diegotxe. Horacio Diegotxe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The wind increased when Dorian Fernandes made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Hortêncio Loureiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horacio Diegotxe. PIRIPERI FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hortêncio Loureiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Zé Pedro Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Dorian Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to PIRIPERI FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Adelino Sanches hit a great ball. With his leg Horacio Diegotxe managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Cheruan's Hortêncio Loureiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Enio Couto came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the PIRIPERI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enio Couto couldn't finish the play. Enio Couto struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Cacá Botelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PIRIPERI FC. Enio Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cacá Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Afonsinho Cerezo fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cheruan's protests and gave Afonsinho Cerezo a yellow card for diving instead. When Carlos Carioca came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the PIRIPERI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Carioca couldn't finish the play. PIRIPERI FC's Enio Couto got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 played minutes Cheruan got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Duarte. 89 minutes into the match, Hortêncio Loureiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horacio Diegotxe. PIRIPERI FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hortêncio Loureiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Horacio Diegotxe made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Hortêncio Loureiro sent off a good shot on target. PIRIPERI FC's Adelino Sanches got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cheruan were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over PIRIPERI FC's much stronger midfield.
