When Floresta EC's Bernardinho de Toledo in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Parma Brasil's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Bernardinho de Toledo sped through Parma Brasil's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adrianinho Maciel. If Bernardinho de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edmílson Vinhas came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ball Bender could save by the left post. In the 14th minute, Wilson Figueiredo made a precise shot to the right of Adrianinho Maciel. Parma Brasil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Pedrinho Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Adrianinho Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Parma Brasil's Adrianinho Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardinho de Toledo in the 18th minute of play. Parma Brasil's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Mello in the 21st minute. The corner ended in Joel Mello almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Floresta EC's Ball Bender did a great save. If Edmílson Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jardel Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Floresta EC's João Carlos Hoffmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrianinho Maciel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. João Carlos Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Maciel having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Parma Brasil got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Veiga. 35 minutes into the match, Parma Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Figueiredo came free, but Adrianinho Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Figueiredo took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrianinho Maciel. Adrianinho Maciel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The supporters of Floresta EC booed when Parma Brasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmílson Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrianinho Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Figueiredo in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute Décio Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ball Bender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilson Figueiredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilson Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Maciel having to interfere. In the 53rd match minute, Parma Brasil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Wilson Figueiredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrianinho Maciel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Edmílson Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ball Bender didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parma Brasil. In a very dangerous position, a player in Floresta EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Parma Brasil a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joel Mello, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Floresta EC's Ball Bender. 1-4. João Carlos Hoffmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrianinho Maciel having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Bernardinho de Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floresta EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardinho de Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrianinho Maciel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute Edmílson Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ball Bender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Décio Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Floresta EC's zone, Décio Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ball Bender came out of the goal and Décio Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When João Carlos Hoffmann fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floresta EC's protests and gave João Carlos Hoffmann a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Floresta EC got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos Hoffmann. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Parma Brasil's goalkeeper Adrianinho Maciel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adrianinho Maciel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilson Figueiredo's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Daniel Makariem took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrianinho Maciel. Adrianinho Maciel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Edmílson Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ball Bender having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Parma Brasil's zone, Wilson Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrianinho Maciel came out of the goal and Wilson Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrianinho Maciel stood somewhat misplaced when João Carlos Hoffmann came free in front of goal and shot 1-6 to the left of him in the 97 minute. Floresta EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
