Spectators: 7608 (Terracing: 5707, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 151) Fausto Moraes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the match, Vivaldo de Moraes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ball Bender, 1-0. Geovânio Vander came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta EC's Bernardinho de Toledo. But to his dismay, Bernardinho de Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 16 played minutes Chuteira Santa F.C got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Moraes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardinho de Toledo in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovânio Vander saved Chuteira Santa F.C from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Chuteira Santa F.C's zone, Bernardinho de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovânio Vander came out of the goal and Bernardinho de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Chuteira Santa F.C getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Valdemar Cardozo hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Floresta EC's Jardel de Alcântara broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ball Bender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrinho Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Wilson Figueiredo made a precise shot to the right of Geovânio Vander. Chuteira Santa F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 42 minutes into the match, Chuteira Santa F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho de Toledo came free, but Geovânio Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ball Bender tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Floresta EC's Ball Bender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Romero in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilson Figueiredo was the one to do the kick off. Wilson Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Vander having to interfere. Ismael Romero took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ball Bender. Ball Bender dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Ball Bender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo de Moraes in the 63rd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Fausto Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Ball Bender was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Moraes in the 69th minute of play forced Floresta EC's goalkeeper Ball Bender to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ball Bender didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Romero went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Ball Bender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Romero in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Floresta EC's Bernardinho de Toledo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-3. When Bernardinho de Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Floresta EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardinho de Toledo couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilson Figueiredo got free with Geovânio Vander in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Nunes hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Geovânio Vander was a little too slow when Bernardinho de Toledo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 5-5. Ball Bender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
