Cauan Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Moraes in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cauan Lima saved União Independente from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Vivaldo de Moraes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chuteira Santa F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Moraes to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney Madureira in the 51st minute of play forced Chuteira Santa F.C's goalkeeper Kléberson Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cauan Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Moraes's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. With his leg Cauan Lima managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Chuteira Santa F.C's Fausto Moraes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 63 played minutes Chuteira Santa F.C got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Trigo. Kléberson Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Cunha in the 66th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sydney Madureira couldn't finish the play. Dorival Magalhães charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorival Magalhães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Chuteira Santa F.C got a freekick which was hit by Dorival Magalhães. A collision led to União Independente getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Paulo Sergipano hit a great ball.
