Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Rosado in the 6th minute of play forced Sporting Colegio RJ's goalkeeper Luciano Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgílio Rosado took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luciano Mineiro. Luciano Mineiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 11th minute, Walmyr de Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Sporting Colegio RJ's goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio Rosado came free, but Luciano Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Sporting Colegio RJ got a freekick which was hit by Adhemar Couto. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgílio Rosado got free with Luciano Mineiro in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Walmyr de Britos short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Luciano Mineiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sporting Colegio RJ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Walmyr de Brito scored to the left of an out of position Luciano Mineiro, making the score, 3-0. A collision led to Paulino getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. José Carlos Rocha hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Jacinto Fernandez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvaldinho Paraense was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Virgílio Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Luciano Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kiko de Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Luciano Mineiro made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Luciano Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Rosado in the 62nd minute of play. Kiko de Lara scored 5-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luciano Mineiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juarês Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Mineiro having to interfere.
