Spectators: 7541 (Terracing: 5657, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Deivid Mineiro started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, Chuteira Santa F.C's Agostinho Lara threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fausto Moraes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Chuteira Santa F.C getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Leonardo Tasso hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Sporting Colegio RJ's Sydney Lucas got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Sporting Colegio RJ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fausto Moraes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 18 minutes into the match, Vivaldo de Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agostinho Lara. Sporting Colegio RJ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vivaldo de Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Agostinho Lara was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Fausto Moraes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fausto Moraes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Fausto Moraes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 33 minutes into the game, Chuteira Santa F.C's Fausto Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agostinho Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Colegio RJ's zone, Fausto Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agostinho Lara came out of the goal and Fausto Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vivaldo de Moraes, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luisão Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chuteira Santa F.C's Fausto Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fausto Moraes to strike the kick off in the second half. Agostinho Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Moraes in the 58th minute of the match. Fausto Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agostinho Lara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Moraes's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Fausto Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agostinho Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After 72nd play minutes Fausto Moraes shot 5-1, a short shot which went by Agostinho Lara and just under the crossbar into goal. Chuteira Santa F.C's Luisão Trigo got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Sporting Colegio RJ defense, Vivaldo de Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agostinho Lara. The Sporting Colegio RJ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agostinho Lara should have stopped the shot. Vivaldo de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Agostinho Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agostinho Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Moraes in the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Deivid Mineiro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kléberson Fonseca, passed just outside the right post. Fausto Moraes scored 7-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agostinho Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Chuteira Santa F.C were the better team. Chuteira Santa F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
