After a defensive mix-up in Parma Brasil's zone, Erik Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrianinho Maciel came out of the goal and Erik Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Parma Brasil's Jardel Araújo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexandre Toledo. That made the score 3-1 after 44 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Décio Sergipano to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Manaus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Coutinho came free, but Alexandre Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Décio Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Parma Brasil fans cheered their team off the field, for while Manaus FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
