Joel Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Adrianinho Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umberto Perez in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Rodriguinho de Godoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Adrianinho Maciel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rodriguinho de Godoi struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Adrianinho Maciel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barriero EC. Umberto Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrianinho Maciel made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Rodriguinho de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, Parma Brasil's Edmílson Vinhas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dedê da Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adrianinho Maciel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Umberto Perez's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. If Décio Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Barriero EC's Cláudio Eger got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Umberto Perez to strike the kick off in the second half. Umberto Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Maciel having to interfere. Edmílson Vinhas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dedê da Silveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. When Dudu Borges fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barriero EC's protests and gave Dudu Borges a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Parma Brasil booed when Barriero EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmílson Vinhas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Dedê da Silveira made a huge save. When Edmílson Vinhas came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Parma Brasil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmílson Vinhas couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Décio Sergipano in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dedê da Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute Rodriguinho de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Rodriguinho de Godoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrianinho Maciel. Parma Brasil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodriguinho de Godoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Rodriguinho de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Décio Sergipano in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dedê da Silveira saved Barriero EC from getting behind. 93 minutes into the match, Barriero EC's Rodriguinho de Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrianinho Maciel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Parma Brasil's goalkeeper Adrianinho Maciel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barriero EC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
