A collision led to Parma Brasil getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Edmílson Vinhas hit a great ball. João Carlos Hoffmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrianinho Maciel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Carlos Hoffmann ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Adrianinho Maciel managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Floresta EC's Daniel Makariem fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 10th minute, Daniel Makariem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 11 played minutes Bernardinho de Toledo rounded Parma Brasil's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 14th minute, Bernardinho de Toledo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. João Carlos Hoffmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrianinho Maciel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Zé Roberto Trigo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. Adrianinho Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrinho Cabral's late challenge caught a Parma Brasil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrinho Cabral helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Floresta EC's Pedrinho Cabral got a free kick in the 44th minute. Moisés Recife took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ball Bender. Floresta EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilson Figueiredo to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilson Figueiredo in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrianinho Maciel saved Parma Brasil from getting behind. Pedrinho Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Makariem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Adrianinho Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Carlos Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo de Medeiros in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrianinho Maciel saved Parma Brasil from getting behind. João Carlos Hoffmann charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Carlos Hoffmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th match minute, Floresta EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Floresta EC's Ball Bender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Décio Sergipano in the 72nd minute of play. Adrianinho Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Carlos Hoffmann in the 75th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Floresta EC's João Carlos Hoffmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrianinho Maciel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When João Carlos Hoffmann came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Floresta EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Carlos Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Makariem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos Hoffmann in the 88th minute of play forced Parma Brasil's goalkeeper Adrianinho Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Floresta EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
