Luís Eduardo Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovânio Proença in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Matías Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovânio Proença ran back to his position shaking his head. Matías Tepedino took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Eduardo Ferreira. Luís Eduardo Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 44th minute Matías Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matías Tepedino was the one to do the kick off. In the 96th minute, Celsinho Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caxinha F. C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
