Sulacap's Jeremias Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otávio de Senna in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Jeferson Bertassi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jeremias Baptista, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur de Almeida in the 10th minute of play forced Atlético Fluminense's goalkeeper Geovanni de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Sulacap's Jeremias Baptista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Sulacap from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute, Erasmo Macedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremias Baptista was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 19th match minute, Atlético Fluminense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otávio de Senna to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeferson Bertassi got free with Jeremias Baptista in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ismael Coelho hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, Evandro Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sulacap's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Fluminense the free kick. After 28 played minutes Sulacap got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Castro. Jeremias Baptista came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Fluminense's João Pedro Macedo. But to his dismay, João Pedro Macedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Jeremias Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otávio de Senna in the 33rd minute of the match. Sílvio Luís Toscano hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Macedo in the 37th minute of play forced Sulacap's goalkeeper Jeremias Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arthur de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Arthur de Almeida made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Arthur de Almeida got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Arthur de Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Geovanni de Lara made a huge save. Carlos Eduardo Pombal charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Eduardo Pombal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sulacap getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Carlos Eduardo Pombal hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Erasmo Macedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremias Baptista was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Jeremias Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Maciel in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Atlético Fluminense's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Castro came free, but Geovanni de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Macedo in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Sulacap's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Bertassi came free, but Jeremias Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basílio Maciel made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sulacap's Carlos Eduardo Pombal. Evandro Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geovanni de Lara having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Fluminense's zone, Sakut Ferikoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovanni de Lara came out of the goal and Sakut Ferikoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Sulacap defense, Erasmo Macedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremias Baptista. The Sulacap fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Baptista should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute Otávio de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlético Fluminense walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
