The supporters of Apeel booed when Cavalo Crioulo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauco Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Laércio Britto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Fabiano Fantini received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Reynaldo Urbano came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Fabiano Fantini slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. Cavalo Crioulo FC's Reynaldo Urbano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Cavalo Crioulo FC from getting a goal against them. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laércio Britto to strike the kick off in the second half. João Augusto de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Cardozo's late challenge caught a Cavalo Crioulo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Cardozo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Apeel's Alexandre Cardozo got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 89 minutes of play, Cavalo Crioulo FC's Laércio Britto made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Augusto de Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reynaldo Urbano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Fabiano Fantini went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Apeel had won after a very even match.
