Juan Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto de Souza in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ASPEN's Fellipe Gomes got a free kick in the 15th minute. Thiago Donatello didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Moisés Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASPEN's supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Donatello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Célio Tepedino was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, one of ASPEN:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ASPEN. The referee gave Estefania SC a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Claudinho Paranaense, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ASPEN's Juan Queiroz. 1-1. After 29 minutes of play, ASPEN's César Macedo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Donatello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Augusto de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Augusto de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Queiroz having to interfere. If César Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thiago Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliu Doles in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Carlos Augusto de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliu Doles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, Vito Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Jânio Alagoano sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Estefania SC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jânio Alagoano hit a great ball. The supporters of Estefania SC booed when ASPEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Augusto de Souza in the 66th minute of the match. ASPEN's Juan Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto de Souza in the 71st minute of play. Thiago Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Jânio Alagoano in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juan Queiroz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. César Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Betinho Sanches hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Eliu Doles kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Marquinhos Vasconcelos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ASPEN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estefania SC the free kick. After 94 played minutes ASPEN got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Vasconcelos. ASPEN's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
