Luís Eduardo Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Eduardo Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovânio Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Ramalho in the 16th minute of play forced Caxinha F. C.'s goalkeeper Ruperto Burni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Geovânio Proença took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Luís Eduardo Ferreira to make any attempt to save it. Luís Eduardo Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Celsinho Camargo sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ademar Netto during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 minutes of play, Curucamba's Álvaro Catarinense made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruperto Burni was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute, Celsinho Camargo made a precise shot to the right of Luís Eduardo Ferreira. Curucamba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 42 minutes into the match, Curucamba's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Ferreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessandro Queirós. 43 minutes into the match, Geovânio Proença had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Eduardo Ferreira. Curucamba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovânio Proença was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 46th minute, Celsinho Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curucamba's Kléberson Gomes suffered a sore thigh after 47 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Caxinha F. C. getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Geovânio Proença hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

When Alessandro Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caxinha F. In the 89th match minute, Curucamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Bernardo Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessandro Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Geovânio Proença notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of Curucamba's Luís Eduardo Ferreira. Luís Eduardo Ferreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Caxinha F. C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
