Spectators: 5630 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) Erasmo Macedo made the kick off and thus started the match. A sloppy throw-in by Acácio Lara in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Atlético Fluminense's Wiliam Vinhas. After 10 minutes, Zeca Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buenoia FC and the Atlético Fluminense players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Buenoia FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Costa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Macedo got free with Geovani Pires in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Fluminense's zone, Olavo Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovanni de Lara came out of the goal and Olavo Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeca Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geovanni de Lara having to make a save. After 20 played minutes Buenoia FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fernando Mota. Olavo Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Geovanni de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juninho Dias hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Buenoia FC's Geovani Pires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Buenoia FC from getting a goal against them. Geovani Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Macedo in the 31st minute of play. If Juninho Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, Augusto Mineiro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Buenoia FC's Elder Romero quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With an all-out effort, Atlético Fluminense's Geovani Pires threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erasmo Macedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 55th minute, Luís Fernando Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olavo Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olavo Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 62 minutes into the match, Buenoia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Mineiro came free, but Geovani Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juninho Dias struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Geovanni de Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buenoia FC. In the 71st minute, João Pedro Macedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovani Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Geovani Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 77 minutes into the game, when Luís Fernando Mota put in a rough tackle. In the 77th minute, Luís Fernando Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geovani Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro Macedo in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Buenoia FC's Zeca Costa got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Geovanni de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anísio Soares in the 86th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Atlético Fluminense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
