Spectators: 7489 (Terracing: 5691, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 53) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nestor Ramos started the match with the kick off. Gilson Mandrak charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilson Mandrak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Shadow FC's Gilson Mandrak got a free kick in the 5th minute. Edinho Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilson Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Marín having to interfere. Edinho Baptista made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Anastasio Cuevas sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Jardel França kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edinho Baptista. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Shadow FC's Edinho Baptista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Shadow FC from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Shadow FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel França came free, but Edinho Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Shadow FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Wilian Carioca hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Los Grandes's Anastasio Cuevas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The supporters of Los Grandes booed when Shadow FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edinho Baptista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Willian Chaves went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute, Anastasio Cuevas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edinho Baptista. The goal made the score 4-0. Edinho Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute of the match Los Grandes got a corner. Shadow FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elivélton Borges ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Los Grandes's Elivélton Borges to fire away a dangerous shot which Edinho Baptista despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as André Alvarenga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edinho Baptista. That made the score 5-0 in the 39 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Gilson Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shadow FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilson Mandrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Marín breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willian Chaves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Shadow FC defense, Willian Chaves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edinho Baptista. The Shadow FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edinho Baptista should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elivélton Borges in the 60th minute of play forced Shadow FC's goalkeeper Edinho Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shadow FC's Edinho Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian Chaves in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gilson Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shadow FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilson Mandrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Marín tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Los Grandes's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Cavalcante came free, but Miguel Marín reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Grandes's Miguel Marín played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Mandrak in the 93rd minute of play. Willian Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los Grandes fans cheered their team off the field, for while Shadow FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
