União Lokomotiva FC's Cássio Goiano got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute Dário Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilson Lira hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When Sydney Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Konoha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sydney Carvalho couldn't finish the play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dario Palos made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Dario Palos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitinho de Toledo. Konoha FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dario Palos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Konoha FC made a substitution. Fiori das Neves replaced Faustão Santos. After 60 minutes União Lokomotiva FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zeng Tian Ke who took care of the corner kick. When Marco Nogueira fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored União Lokomotiva FC's protests and gave Marco Nogueira a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for União Lokomotiva FC! Duarte Dionísio charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Geraldo Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. União Lokomotiva FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geraldo Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitinho de Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. União Lokomotiva FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Konoha FC's much stronger midfield.
