Sebastião Faria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC Inter United's zone, Telmo Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Renato Paulista came out of the goal and Telmo Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute of the match, Natanael Furtado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastião Faria saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Júnior de Souza's late challenge caught a CORINTHIANS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Júnior de Souza helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Adan Michael managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Inter United's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Michael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastião Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90 minutes of play, FC Inter United's Adan Michael made it 1-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastião Faria was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Inter United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
