The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Lucas Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poá F.C.'s Beto Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 4th match minute, Squall FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Jokiranta to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Lucas Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Squall FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Beto Andrade came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Squall FC's Johannes Jokiranta. But to his dismay, Johannes Jokiranta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Poá F.C.'s Leandro Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Squall FC's Fellipe de Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Squall FC from getting a goal against them. Lucas Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Andrade having to interfere. Pedro Luiz Duarte made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Squall FC's Arí da Rocha. Thomás Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Poá F.C. defense, Lucas Marques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beto Andrade. The Poá F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beto Andrade should have stopped the shot. After 34 minutes, Lucas Marques made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Poá F.C.'s Beto Andrade tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Poá F.C. getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Pedro Luiz Duarte hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, Squall FC's Lucas Marques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beto Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 41 minutes into the match, Poá F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Marques came free, but Beto Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Squall FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Marques to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucas Marques who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Beto Andrade when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Squall FC booed when Poá F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Poá F.C.'s Pedro Luiz Duarte got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Lucas Marques struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Beto Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Squall FC. 65 minutes into the match, Lucas Marques dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Beto Andrade, 0-6. When Lucas Marques came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Squall FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Marques couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Squall FC booed when Poá F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johannes Jokiranta kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Arí da Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Squall FC's protests and gave Arí da Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th match minute, Squall FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arí da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Johannes Jokiranta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game was made by Pedro Luiz Duarte with Pedro Paulo Trevisan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Lucas Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Squall FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beto Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Poá F.C.'s Beto Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Jokiranta in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to Squall FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Johannes Jokiranta hit a great ball. With his leg Beto Andrade managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Squall FC's Lucas Marques fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
