Mateo Ascencio started the match with the kick off. Mateo Ascencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 minutes, Noel Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Tiger F.C. and the Pimenteiras FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Black Tiger F.C. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Noel Godoi hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Black Tiger F.C.'s Noel Godoi got a free kick in the 13th minute. Jeremias Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Ademar Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo do Nascimento in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ademar Moura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pimenteiras FC's Jeremias Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inácio Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Ascencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 26 minutes, Carlos Augusto Mineiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Tiger F.C. and the Pimenteiras FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mateo Ascencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Soares having to interfere. Pimenteiras FC's Júlio Alvarenga got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mateo Ascencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ademar Moura came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Tiger F.C.'s Noel Godoi. But to his dismay, Noel Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Black Tiger F.C.'s Inácio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Ascencio in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Júlio Alvarenga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pimenteiras FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ademar Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo do Nascimento in the 48th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haroldo Mesquita was the one to do the kick off. Ademar Moura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haroldo Mesquita's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. If Júlio Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Edmundo do Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ademar Moura was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ademar Moura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo do Nascimento in the 68th minute. Edmundo do Nascimento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ademar Moura having to make a save. Inácio Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Alvarenga in the 76th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Haroldo Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 88th minute of the match Carlos Augusto Mineiro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carlos Augusto Mineiro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Pimenteiras FC booed when Black Tiger F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Augusto Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Pimenteiras FC's goalkeeper Ademar Moura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo do Nascimento. Edmundo do Nascimento came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ademar Moura could save by the left post. After having played for 96 minutes, Haroldo Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Tiger F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Mesquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
