Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Haroldo Mesquita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Inácio Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Madureira in the 8th minute of the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Haroldo Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Tiger F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Mesquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Black Tiger F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gozado:s goal. Inácio Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Rui Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Soares having to interfere. Inácio Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Madureira in the 31st minute of the match. When Enio Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Gozado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enio Zonta couldn't finish the play. Inácio Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Madureira to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Mesquita in the 56th minute of play forced Gozado's goalkeeper Donato Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Black Tiger F.C.'s zone, Enio Zonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inácio Soares came out of the goal and Enio Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delfim Sergipano hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 78th play minute Enio Zonta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Inácio Soares. 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Black Tiger F.C.'s zone, Enio Zonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inácio Soares came out of the goal and Enio Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inácio Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Madureira's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Black Tiger F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rui Madureira came free, but Inácio Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Gozado supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gozado would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
