Tiaguinho Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarcisio Massa in the 19th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Célio Maranhense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vieiras and the Laions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Vieiras got a freekick which was hit by Célio Maranhense. Felipe Toledo made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Pedro Luís Donatello sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th match minute, Laions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédson Abraão to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Luís Donatello got free with Felipe Toledo in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Frédson Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdomiro do Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Felipe Toledo made a huge save. Felipe Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luan Dias in the 36th minute of the match. Tiaguinho Carioca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tarcisio Massa's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Dorival de Senna's late challenge caught a Laions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dorival de Senna helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Vieiras got a freekick which was hit by Dorival de Senna. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tarcisio Massa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Luan Dias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Toledo. Laions FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luan Dias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Vieiras's Dorival de Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tiaguinho Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Félix in the 66th minute of play. After 66 minutes, Jeremias de Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laions FC and the Vieiras players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Pedro Luís Donatello came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Vieiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luís Donatello couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Luan Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarcisio Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tiaguinho Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tarcisio Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorival de Senna took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Toledo. Tarcisio Massa in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
