If Tarcisio Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Black Tiger F.C.'s Inácio Soares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Black Tiger F.C. from getting a goal against them. Inácio Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tarcisio Massa in the 21st minute. Felipe Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Charles Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Carlos Augusto Mineiro fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Tiger F.C.'s protests and gave Carlos Augusto Mineiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Carlos Augusto Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Ramos in the 30th minute of play forced Black Tiger F.C.'s goalkeeper Inácio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tarcisio Massa in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the game, Frédson Abraão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Inácio Soares. Frédson Abraão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Charles Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Laions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Ramos couldn't finish the play. Inácio Soares was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Frédson Abraão capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frédson Abraão really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Mesquita made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Ramos in the 53rd minute of play forced Black Tiger F.C.'s goalkeeper Inácio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charles Ramos hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Haroldo Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Felipe Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Black Tiger F.C.'s Inácio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarcisio Massa in the 61st minute of play. Inácio Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Ramos in the 63rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Frédson Abraão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Inácio Soares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Faustão Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Charles Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inácio Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Haroldo Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Felipe Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The tension between the Black Tiger F.C. and the Laions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Laions FC's Clemente Baiano was substituted for Acácio Favoretto. In the 98th minute of the match Faustão Alvarenga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inácio Soares skillfully saved the ball. Laions FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
