Adrianinho Mangueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alisson Oblak in the 15th minute. Alisson Oblak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Adrianinho Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alisson Oblak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Mangueira having to interfere. Denílson Cearense charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denílson Cearense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hoogina booed when Team Guaxi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrianinho Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Severo in the 35th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Team Guaxi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hoogina:s goal. Adrianinho Mangueira went to the wrong direction when Túlio Vale was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Telmo Domingues was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Alisson Oblak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Team Guaxi's Adrianinho Mangueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrianinho Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Túlio Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrinho Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Mangueira having to interfere. Adrianinho Mangueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alisson Oblak in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alisson Oblak in the 93rd minute of play forced Team Guaxi's goalkeeper Adrianinho Mangueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Waldemar Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sydney Borges struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Luan Perez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Guaxi. Hoogina walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
