After 21 minutes of play, The Mandalorian's Célio Paiva made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dida de Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luiz Fernando Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Miguel Alcântara made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Erik Linhares took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Miguel Alcântara to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

After a rather tough play, The Mandalorian's Almir Salgado got a free kick in the 58th minute. Dagoberto Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Alberto Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida de Mendonça having to interfere. Dagoberto Dionísio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Coringão's Luiz Fernando Lara in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd rose to their feet as The Mandalorian's Célio Paiva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dida de Mendonça. That made the score 4-2 after 70 minutes of play. The supporters of Coringão booed when The Mandalorian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fernando Lara in the 75th minute of play forced The Mandalorian's goalkeeper Miguel Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes of play, Coringão's Dagoberto Dionísio made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When Felippe de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Mandalorian's protests and gave Felippe de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to The Mandalorian getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Felippe de Senna hit a great ball. Agostinho Hoffmann's late challenge caught a Coringão's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agostinho Hoffmann helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to The Mandalorian getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Agostinho Hoffmann hit a great ball. Coringão walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
