Luiz Fernando Lara scored 3-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Palmeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Dagoberto Dionísio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hugo Palmeira. The goal made the score 4-0. Caresalzinho SS's Hugo Palmeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Caresalzinho SS from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute, Dagoberto Dionísio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hugo Palmeira, passed just outside the right post. Hugo Palmeira made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Luiz Fernando Lara sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Caresalzinho SS's Hugo Palmeira got control of the ball when Luiz Fernando Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Amauri Garcia's late challenge caught a Coringão's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amauri Garcia helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Coringão booed when Caresalzinho SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Lara in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Pedrão Camargo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Caresalzinho SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Palmeira should have stopped the shot. Hugo Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Hugo Palmeira came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Coringão's Luiz Fernando Lara. But to his dismay, Luiz Fernando Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. There was no doubt that Coringão were the better team. Coringão's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
