Jerônimo Sampaio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claes Alstedt came out and tried to block the shot, but Jerônimo Sampaio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 13th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dráuzio Maia during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Dráuzio Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind pinheiral FC's goalkeeper Claes Alstedt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claes Alstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Andrade in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Angaturama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Pinho to maneuver through the defense. André Luís Monteiro struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Gerson de Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for pinheiral FC. The audience was convinced that Jerônimo Sampaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claes Alstedt was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 31st minute, pinheiral FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jerônimo Sampaio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 32nd minute, Gustaf Eckegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind pinheiral FC's goalkeeper Claes Alstedt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edvaldo Recife hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Angaturama's zone, Glauco Custódio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerson de Brito came out of the goal and Glauco Custódio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claes Alstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo Sampaio in the 39th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Jerônimo Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angaturama's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerônimo Sampaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claes Alstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerônimo Sampaio in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Alstedt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerônimo Sampaio to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes pinheiral FC got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Nardo. Claes Alstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Perivaldo Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Alstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Pinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claes Alstedt having to make a save. Claes Alstedt came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Angaturama's Jerônimo Sampaio. But to his dismay, Jerônimo Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Cássio Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 63 minutes of play pinheiral FC's Gustaf Eckegren was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Gustaf Eckegren hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Jerônimo Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Alstedt having to interfere. If Jorge Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angaturama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Jerônimo Sampaio notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of pinheiral FC's Claes Alstedt. Claes Alstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 93 played minutes Angaturama got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Borges. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Luís Monteiro got free with Gerson de Brito in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angaturama walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
