A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute Isaltino Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerson de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Isaltino Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerson de Brito was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Diamantino Pinheiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Vânderson Cardoso made a huge save. In the 20th minute Isaltino Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerson de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 22nd minute when Jorge Pinho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Angaturama's zone, Arthur Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerson de Brito came out of the goal and Arthur Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Angaturama defense, Isaltino Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerson de Brito. The Angaturama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerson de Brito should have stopped the shot. After 30 played minutes Angaturama got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Andrade. When Diamantino Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Angaturama's protests and gave Diamantino Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of A.D.PADRE MIGUEL booed when Angaturama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cássio Andrade hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Angaturama's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Toledo came free, but Gerson de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaltino Toledo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. 63 minutes into the match, Angaturama's Hélio Gonçalves broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Angaturama's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Barbosa came free, but Gerson de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's Isaltino Toledo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerson de Brito. Gerson de Brito yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's Arthur Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The coaching staff of Angaturama protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edvaldo Recife had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 92 minutes into the game, one of Angaturama:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Angaturama:s Gerson de Brito showed great skill when he stopped Arthur Barbosa:s penalty. The Angaturama fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
