Ian da Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian da Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pontes Academy FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ian da Silveira hit a great ball. Zebrandia's Vinícius Paiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Zebrandia from getting a goal against them. Ian da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Vinícius Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Zebrandia getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Tostão Ramalho hit a great ball. Pontes Academy FC's Abelardo Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pontes Academy FC's Durvalino Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Alcântara in the 20th minute of play. Gino Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee gave Pontes Academy FC a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abelardo Moura, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Zebrandia's Vinícius Paiva. 1-0. If Ian da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pontes Academy FC's Gino Secco got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vinícius Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ian da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Vinícius Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Durvalino Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zebrandia. A collision led to Zebrandia getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ademir Fernandez hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Augusto Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Pontes Academy FC booed when Zebrandia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Secco in the 58th minute of play forced Zebrandia's goalkeeper Vinícius Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pontes Academy FC's Haroldo Guimarães got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Augusto Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Durvalino Paranaense came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Zebrandia's Ademir Fernandez. But to his dismay, Ademir Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ian da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Vinícius Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Edson Porto notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Pontes Academy FC's Durvalino Paranaense. Durvalino Paranaense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Cesinha Sampaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Zebrandia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
