Vinícius Paiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedrinho Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Igor Rodrigues hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The supporters of Regina FC booed when Zebrandia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcinho Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Marcinho Pernambucano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zebrandia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Regina FC the free kick. A collision led to Zebrandia getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Marcinho Pernambucano hit a great ball. Vinícius Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Nascimento in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Regina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ademir Fernandez came free, but Enio Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Zebrandia's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Leme came free, but Vinícius Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Regina FC's Sílvio Pena was substituted for Maurinho Netto. In the 63rd minute, Elias Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Regina FC made a substitution. But to his dismay, Pedrinho Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 73 minutes into the match, Zebrandia's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Nascimento came free, but Vinícius Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Zebrandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tostão Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Guilherme Mazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Pena during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th minute, Sílvio Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zebrandia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Regina FC.
