But to his dismay, Edinho Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Antônio Carlos Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Hélder do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinho Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The São Lourenço FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Detonautas FC Return were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denílson Faria was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Detonautas FC Return's Hélder do Valle threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edinho Lara, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
