The supporters of Batateiros Sport Club booed when Buba & Gump F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexsandro Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 20 in the game by Valdemar do Vale from a close distance when the talented Flávio Alves managed to make a qualified save. Batateiros Sport Club's players were relieved. Flávio Alves made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Aníbal Damião sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd match minute, Buba & Gump F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Toscano to maneuver through the defense. Edson Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magno Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Magno Paraense made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Valdemar do Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdemar do Vale in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flávio Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caco Travassos struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Edson Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batateiros Sport Club. After 64 played minutes Buba & Gump F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Diniz. After a rather tough play, Batateiros Sport Club's Aloísio Souza got a free kick in the 69th minute. Reginaldo Diniz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flávio Alves. Batateiros Sport Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Batateiros Sport Club's Flávio Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar do Vale in the 78th minute of play. Paulo Renato Custódio kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Batateiros Sport Club were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
