In the 9th minute, Haroldo Galvão sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Auriceleste Wolfs's Ernani Abraão didn't even have to move. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Auriceleste Wolfs's goalkeeper Ernani Abraão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Humberto Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Acadêmico de Viseu booed when Auriceleste Wolfs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Auriceleste Wolfs's goal looked a bit too open when Rubinho Vieira came free, but Ernani Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernani Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubinho Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ernani Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Corrêa in the 38th minute of play. With a little luck, Acadêmico de Viseu's Luizinho Donatello got control of the ball when Humberto Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natanael Severo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Natanael Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho Donatello having to interfere. In the 53rdth minute of the game Natanael Severo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Acadêmico de Viseu's Luizinho Donatello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Pereira in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luizinho Donatello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute, Rubinho Vieira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Acadêmico de Viseu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Ernani Abraão came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Acadêmico de Viseu's Rubinho Vieira. But to his dismay, Rubinho Vieira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Acadêmico de Viseu's goalkeeper Luizinho Donatello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luizinho Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Pereira in the 75th minute of play. Natanael Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Luizinho Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Natanael Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizinho Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rubinho Vieira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernani Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Acadêmico de Viseu's Rubinho Vieira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernani Abraão. Ernani Abraão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Rubinho Vieira succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. Luizinho Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Pereira in the 97th minute of the match. The Auriceleste Wolfs supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Acadêmico de Viseu's performance. The match ended with a win for Acadêmico de Viseu.
