Caturai's Geovani da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho de Barros in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Vilfes FC booed when Caturai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luan Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Caturai's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho de Barros came free, but Geovani da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Zézinho de Barros came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Vilfes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zézinho de Barros couldn't finish the play. Wilton de Andrade took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastião Fernandes. Sebastião Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Geovani da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastião Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton de Andrade in the 92nd minute of the match. Sebastião Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto de Sousa in the 93rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vilfes FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Caturai.
