Spectators: 7549 (Terracing: 5663, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jan Koller made the kick off which started today's match. Internacional F.C's Geovânio Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Andrade in the 3rd minute of play. Jan Koller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Ortiz having to interfere. Geovânio Ortiz came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Pantanal's Jan Koller. But to his dismay, Jan Koller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gernando de Lara's late challenge caught a Pantanal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gernando de Lara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Gernando de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Internacional F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Koller came free, but Geovânio Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Jan Koller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernani Velloso hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Jan Koller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pantanal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Koller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 28 minutes, Jan Koller made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Internacional F.C's Geovânio Ortiz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Pantanal's zone, Rodrigo Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fábio Paes came out of the goal and Rodrigo Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 minutes of play, Pantanal's Jan Koller made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovânio Ortiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the match, Caco Andrade notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Internacional F.C's Geovânio Ortiz. Geovânio Ortiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 45 minutes, Jan Koller made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Internacional F.C's Geovânio Ortiz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The wind increased when Jairo Vidal made the kick off in the second half. Ramón Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramón Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jan Koller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Geovânio Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Jan Koller took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Geovânio Ortiz to make any attempt to save it. Jan Koller succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 65th playminute. After 68 played minutes Internacional F.C got a freekick which was hit by Edson Toledo. Geovânio Ortiz came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Pantanal's Jan Koller. But to his dismay, Jan Koller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. If Caco Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Koller in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geovânio Ortiz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 77th minute, Jan Koller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jan Koller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jan Koller came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Pantanal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Koller couldn't finish the play. After 88 played minutes Internacional F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Vidal. In the 91st minute of the match Lucas Barros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Fábio Paes skillfully saved the ball. Caco Andrade received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Geovânio Ortiz came out and tried to block the shot, but Caco Andrade slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 93rd minute.
