To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th match minute, Santos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Donatello to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Cássio Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdir Paes charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdir Paes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Cássio Dionísio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Durval Britto to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Santos's Durval Britto got control of the ball when Nelsinho Berger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Durval Britto was a little too slow when Nelsinho Berger got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. Durval Britto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remo Lopez went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute, Cássio Dionísio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Durval Britto, passed just outside the right post. In the 36th minute, Nelsinho Berger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Durval Britto was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 40 minutes into the match, Santos's goalkeeper Durval Britto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remo Lopez. Durval Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Santos's goal looked a bit too open when Remo Lopez came free, but Durval Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Nelsinho Berger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TOP™- SANTÁSTICO - FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Durval Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remo Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 92ndth minute of the game Remo Lopez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santos's Durval Britto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Nelsinho Berger notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Santos's Durval Britto. Durval Britto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. TOP™- SANTÁSTICO - FDFDF had played much better football throughout.
