Spectators: 7655 (Terracing: 5743, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Oscar Aguiar made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Sport Recife's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Aguiar came free, but Doriva Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Oscar Aguiar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Doriva Paranaense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vassilis Gountelitsas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Eduardo Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Paraense in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Bambuhy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes Bambuhy got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Moura. When Oscar Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Bambuhy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Aguiar couldn't finish the play. Sport Recife's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Oscar Aguiar scored to the left of an out of position Doriva Paranaense, making the score, 2-0. Oscar Aguiar hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Oscar Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Valdir Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdir Brodel was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Sergipano got free with Carlos Eduardo Veloso in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bambuhy's Oscar Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Bambuhy's Carlos Eduardo Veloso got control of the ball when Miguel Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute Oscar Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doriva Paranaense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Aguiar's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Doriva Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Aguiar in the 64th minute of play. Oscar Aguiar took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doriva Paranaense. Doriva Paranaense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Oscar Aguiar scored 4-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doriva Paranaense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Sport Recife's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Aguiar came free, but Doriva Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Aguiar in the 80th minute of play forced Sport Recife's goalkeeper Doriva Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doriva Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Aguiar in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Oscar Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Bambuhy's Walmir Urbano got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute Valdir Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doriva Paranaense came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bambuhy's Oscar Aguiar. But to his dismay, Oscar Aguiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Bambuhy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
