Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfredo Quirino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adriano Vianna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Alberto Severo put in a rough tackle. 10 minutes into the game, one of Amazing Football Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gilberto Corrêa went to the wrong direction when Valdemar Pombal was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. A collision led to Amazing Football Club getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Doni Sá hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, Fernandinho Lopez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gilberto Corrêa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredo Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Amazing Football Club's Alfredo Quirino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adriano Vianna. That made the score 1-2 after 22 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Patizal's zone, Bernardinho de Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Vianna came out of the goal and Bernardinho de Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardinho de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Adriano Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho Lopez in the 34th minute of play. Adriano Vianna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Quirino in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Olívio Pires left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Patizal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Fernandinho Lopez scored 1-4 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Corrêa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olívio Pires was the one to do the kick off. Nelson de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Adriano Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriano Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Alfredo Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amazing Football Club's Gilberto Corrêa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Amazing Football Club from getting a goal against them. Adriano Vianna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Quirino's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. When Fernandinho Lopez fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patizal's protests and gave Fernandinho Lopez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Amazing Football Club booed when Patizal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandinho Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute of the match, Claudinei Amorim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gilberto Corrêa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bernardinho de Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardinho de Mendonça the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernardinho de Mendonça hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Enio Félix kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gilberto Corrêa. That made the score 1-5 in the 79 minute of play. Enio Félix charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enio Félix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, Enio Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Alfredo Quirino sped through Patizal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adriano Vianna. Gilberto Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olívio Pires in the 91st minute of the match. Patizal's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
