The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicolas Mota came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Bambuhy's Oscar Aguiar. But to his dismay, Oscar Aguiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th minute Oscar Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Aguiar scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolas Mota, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicolas Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Amadeu Maia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rio de Janeiro F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bambuhy the free kick. In the 18th minute, Amadeu Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Rio de Janeiro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Aguiar came free, but Nicolas Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Baturalp Baykoca hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Oscar Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Mota. Rio de Janeiro F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Aguiar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute, Oscar Aguiar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bambuhy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. In the 69th minute, Rio de Janeiro F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oscar Aguiar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 71 minutes, Oscar Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 75th minute, Amadeu Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 78 minutes, Oscar Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rio de Janeiro F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Nicolas Mota, was totally fooled by Bambuhy's Dong Nan Yao, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 92 played minutes Bambuhy got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Urbano. When the final whistle sounded Bambuhy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rio de Janeiro F.C..
