The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Boguslaw Jajesniak hit a great ball. Aventureio's André Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Valdir Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flávio Paraense got free with Lemi Ocakçı in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Mendonça got free with Lemi Ocakçı in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sport Recife players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aventureio.
