Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5658, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 140) Universal FC's Sixto Goren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Sixto Goren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júnior Neiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vitório Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Sena having to interfere. Greger Ahlerot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sixto Goren might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júnior Neiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sixto Goren ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute, Igor Soares made a precise shot to the right of Júnior Neiva. Brewers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Sixto Goren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Júnior Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Brewers's Roger da Rocha got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Brewers's zone, Sixto Goren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júnior Neiva came out of the goal and Sixto Goren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Soares scored 0-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júnior Neiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sixto Goren might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júnior Neiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sixto Goren ran back to his position shaking his head. Sixto Goren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júnior Neiva having to make a save. Júnior Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Goren, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Sixto Goren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Júnior Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Greger Ahlerot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Reynaldo Dracena made the kick off in the second half. Universal FC's Sixto Goren got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Sixto Goren made a precise shot to the right of Júnior Neiva. Brewers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 58 minutes into the match, Sixto Goren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júnior Neiva. Brewers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sixto Goren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. If Sixto Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 64 played minutes Brewers got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Chaves. Sixto Goren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júnior Neiva having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Sixto Goren fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Júnior Neiva, passed just outside the right post. Júnior Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Soares in the 71st minute of the match. Júnior Neiva came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Universal FC's Greger Ahlerot. But to his dismay, Greger Ahlerot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After 88 played minutes Universal FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Peres. Universal FC's Sixto Goren got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greger Ahlerot in the 96th minute of play forced Brewers's goalkeeper Júnior Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Universal FC played a much better game than Brewers and deserved their victory. The Brewers players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
