In the 2nd minute Nicolae Siclovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cachaça FC's goalkeeper Cássio da Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erasmo Sena came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Cachaça FC's Natã Cardoso. But to his dismay, Natã Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Erasmo Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolae Siclovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natã Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Erasmo Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Sena came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Cachaça FC's Luís Nóbrega. But to his dismay, Luís Nóbrega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 29th minute Nicolae Siclovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Universal FC's Igor Soares got a free kick in the 30th minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Pedrinho Ibrahimović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Universal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho Ibrahimović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erasmo Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sixto Goren made a kick off. Natã Cardoso struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Erasmo Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachaça FC. In the 55th minute, Greger Ahlerot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Universal FC's Erasmo Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Siclovan in the 57th minute of play. Frederico de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Betinho Custódio made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Sena. Universal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Erasmo Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Siclovan in the 73rd minute of play. Cássio da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Goren in the 79th minute of play. Erasmo Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolae Siclovan in the 84th minute of the match. Betinho Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Erasmo Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Universal FC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Meirelles.
