The audience was convinced that Nicolae Siclovan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Júnior Neiva was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Brewers's Júnior Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Siclovan in the 7th minute of play. After 9 minutes, Nicolae Siclovan made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Brewers's Júnior Neiva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Nicolae Siclovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Natã Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachaça FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Natã Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júnior Neiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Júnior Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolae Siclovan in the 17th minute of the match. Roger da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Nicolae Siclovan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cachaça FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Nicolae Siclovan sped through Brewers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Júnior Neiva. In the 29th minute, Frederico de Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cachaça FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 0-7 became the score in the 36th minute when Nicolae Siclovan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 44th minute Cachaça FC were awarded a corner. Edvaldo Paraibano went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Brewers's goalie and right to Natã Cardoso. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Brewers's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 46th minute Nicolae Siclovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolae Siclovan to make the kick off. Júnior Neiva stood somewhat misplaced when Nicolae Siclovan came free in front of goal and shot 0-9 to the left of him in the 53 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Cardoso in the 62nd minute of play forced Brewers's goalkeeper Júnior Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cachaça FC were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Brewers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicolae Siclovan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Júnior Neiva came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicolae Siclovan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 83rd minute. Frederico de Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Júnior Neiva made a huge save. Júnior Neiva was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Nicolae Siclovan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicolae Siclovan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. If Natã Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the game, Cachaça FC's Frederico de Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júnior Neiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. The Brewers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cachaça FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
