Duarte Silva's late challenge caught a Guerreiros SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duarte Silva helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Guerreiros SC booed when Megafuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Melo got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jonas Carioca. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilson de Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guerreiros SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilson de Queirós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Megafuts FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! Isaltino Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Melo during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Caetano Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Santos having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Tiago Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guerreiros SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Mazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite being the better team, Guerreiros SC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
