Camaquam FC's Nestor Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio Torres in the 27th minute of play. Oséas Madureira charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oséas Madureira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oséas Madureira hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Luís Fábio Torres took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Marques. Nestor Marques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 40th minute, Luís Fábio Torres made a precise shot to the right of Nestor Marques. Camaquam FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 43rd minute, Luís Fábio Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Marques was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. If Severino Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Fábio Torres made a kick off. Tadeu Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Nestor Marques made a huge save. Nestor Marques came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Nunes F. C's Chiquinho Alves. But to his dismay, Chiquinho Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Chiquinho Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Nunes F. C's Tadeu Albuquerque dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Nestor Marques successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Camaquam FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Dieguinho Breckenfeld hit a great ball. With a little luck, Camaquam FC's Nestor Marques got control of the ball when Chiquinho Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Luís Fábio Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chiquinho Alves in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Fábio Torres in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Marques saved Camaquam FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Camaquam FC's Nestor Marques got control of the ball when Chiquinho Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. 1-7 became the score in the 91st minute when Luís Fábio Torres elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Chiquinho Alves struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Nestor Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nunes F. C. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Camaquam FC's goalkeeper Nestor Marques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nunes F. C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
