Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bruninho Tepedino made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Castro got free with Osmar Lopes in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armandinho Maciel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Osmar Lopes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bruninho Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Osmar Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 7 minutes, Armandinho Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meoas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armandinho Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Meoas's Carlos Fernando Matorin got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruninho Tepedino scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osmar Lopes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Meoas booed when Tijucucu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tijucucu's goalkeeper Osmar Lopes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natanael Borges in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Rocha saved Meoas from getting behind. Meoas's Richard Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamílton de Azevedo in the 24th minute of play. When Meoas's Bruninho Tepedino in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tijucucu's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd minute, Bruninho Tepedino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meoas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Osmar Lopes had in the 50thth minute some difficulties stopping Bruninho Tepedino's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cido Dante to strike the kick off in the second half. Osmar Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Castro in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Bruninho Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meoas's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruninho Tepedino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osmar Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Tijucucu's Hamílton de Azevedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Richard Rocha. Richard Rocha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. Meoas's Bruninho Tepedino got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armandinho Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Igor Castro came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Meoas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Castro couldn't finish the play. Manoel Machado hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Bruninho Tepedino might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osmar Lopes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruninho Tepedino ran back to his position shaking his head. After 89 minutes of play, Meoas's Ismael Matorin made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osmar Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emanuel Motta might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osmar Lopes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Motta ran back to his position shaking his head. Manoel Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Bruninho Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Osmar Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meoas.
